An Update from Plooka Towers!
Hi Mountain people - we hope everyone is well. I thought it was about time we posted up another one of out little updates about how the Plooka website is doing. As many of you will know the next ski season is just around the corner, and the excitement is starting to fill our blood. We’ve been working hard to get the site up and running so that skiers and snowboarders around the world can journey to our little site and share in our enthusiasm! And we think we are getting there!
Amazingly we broke through the 50 members barrier in our Forum in the last week, and seem to now be storming ahead. We set ourselves a target of 100 people by the end of the year and it looks like we should get there! The Plooka forum is really a central part of the site and somewhere where we can share all our knowledge, ideas, and worst jokes. I think I mention it in every blog to join the Forum, so I won’t this time!
Aha reverse psychology - so now maybe you will, or wont, or…… - damn now we’re confused!! Oh well link provided for any of our stunned audience that we bamboozled in to that one!
Other news on the site, if you now type Plooka in to google you should get over 4000 results back, bearing in mind 2months ago there was nothing, we are also very proud of this. We are blitzing Facebook with adds aswell, and there is now a Plooka Fan Page that we have setup. Join that at your own peril. Plooka now also shows up when people search for the term ‘Seasonaire’ and we have changed the way the site is indexed so that we show up more! So hopefully we are trapping all you ski workers out there.
Oh and our very own Plooka Seasonaire finally pulled his finger out and joined the Forum! Great to have you on there……………finally!
So this has been a bit of a techy update, but we think it is important to let you know the direction the site is going in. Look out for the Plooka Webcams pages as they will be changing very soon, and we are very excited about how this will look and feel over the coming weeks! Oh and we promise to improve the look, feel and navigation of the blog!
